hun your stuff is really good !
you dont realy define the cheekbones so much or have that much shadows.
i think your work would be alot better if you did a highlight midtone shadow combo. it would gie it alot more dimension and make it look more realistic.

i love your elphaba ! the nose and the chin really formed the shape of theface well =) keep it up !

Define the cheekbones? I noticed that too, I've tried drawing cheekbones, but whenever I do, they always look like plastic surgery disasters. I seriously WOULD do the shadows & midtones if I had the time and a better reference image, I'm just winging it most of the time, 'cuz my reference images are usually low res.

maybe thats why they find mystuff creepy ? coz the eyes are realist but the other stuff isnt lol.

um you can define the cheekbones by placing a shadow thats about two hues darker where the shadow should be, and just do a highlisht of one hue lighter where the light should be reflecting. if you want to make it a white highlight just do it at the uppermost tip where the light hits.

its something i have to stop and ask myself as well everytime otherwise i just keep adding stuff without sense (which i tend to do alot)... so every now and then ask yourself where is the light coming from ? what and where is it hitting ? and how much gets reflected back (how light should it be, if its white it reflects more than black so a lighter collor reflects more than a dark one) ?
